What does this map show?

How to read the colours
Green areas are smooth air, amber tones mean occasional light movement, and red shows more noticeable but still safe bumps. Most of your route is green on most days. A coloured area is not danger; it just means keeping your seatbelt on is a good idea.
When to check it
Check a few days ahead for a general picture; the forecast sharpens as your flight approaches. For a specific flight use the route based forecast, while this map is the big picture of the whole sky.
